The Exciting Future of EntryThingy

Chris Ritke founded EntryThingy in 2007. Since then, thousands of artists have submitted their work with EntryThingy. When Chris decided it was time for him to retire from the business, our team at Third South Capital was glad to take over.

Our goal for EntryThingy is to make it the premier destination for artists and galleries to participate in and host calls. Over the next few months, you can expect substantial investment into the user experience. But before we talk about that, we'd love to share a little bit about why we wanted to run EntryThingy in the first place.

Third South Capital is a software holding company started by a few friends. Our goal is to be great stewards of software companies. When we met Chris, we were immediately intrigued by who EntryThingy serves - supporting artists and galleries so you can focus on art, not the busywork of management.

As we have taken over EntryThingy, it certainly isn't lost on us that the product provides a needed service - and could use some updates! So, we are re-building EntryThingy to make it easier to use, more powerful, and more reliable. Expect to see progress on the rebuild later this year! As we've gotten to know the wonderful community of artists and galleries around the world, we are excited to share our plans with you and get your feedback.
